With NGSS, students no longer need to regurgitate factoids but instead must be able to explain the how and why of scientific phenomena. Consequently, hands-on experience is invaluable in the science classroom. However, how do we help our students "see" and experience what is going on at microscopic and atomic levels? In this session we will learn how to take simulators like PhET and create structured inquiry activities so students can get "hands-on" experience with the use of technology.

A laptop computer is best for this session but Chromebooks and iPads will work too just at a lower functionality.
